What is Contact Healing?

Another way of expressing 'contact' healing is 'hands-on' healing. These are simply different terms for the same thing. Healing, as you may well know, comes in a wide variety of packages. The approach to healing we are looking at here is known as 'REI-KI'

Rei-ki is one of the healing modalities people sometimes turn to when they have begun to give up on everything else - a sort of 'desperation backstop' - but you don't need to leave it until then! When they find it can help, some of these same people become practitioners themselves. Anyone can do this, and it is one of the few healing forms you can actually use on yourself. Rei-ki is a form of 'energy' healing . . .

. . . a . . . WHAT?!

Does that sound wacky? Actually it's no more wacky than telepathy, and that is accepted, isn't it? Rei-ki works on animals (very well - they don't have hang-ups about it) as well as humans. It works in ways about which you might be surprised to discover. It's best - in the sense that it works quickest - when applied as soon as possible after the occurrence or, injury - especially if the help needed is physical. I say "if the help needed is physical", so you can already see that it works for non-physical situations too. It's very soothing, very relaxing and is applied fully clothed. Incidentally, it can be used 'absently' too, but that's another story . . .
